2020 Hyundai Venue – The venue has been created to go up against the sister brand Kia Soul. What’s fascinating is that if you’ve been a subscriber here at radius rides, you would know we’ve already seen this car at the New York Auto Show.
Now, if you know your Honda history, you would know here in the United States. They started selling cars back in 1986; it was the Honda hatchback or sedan since then things have changed in a significant way, and we think with this 2020 Hyundai Venue, you’re going to find that when it comes to affordability. There’s a lot of different choices there, and it’s meant to be the perfect urbanite car. Honda is calling this an urban adventure or vehicle, and it’s got some brilliant engineer details into it.
Does it matter for you?
Hyundai Venue Exterior
The new design all new proportions you can see that Hyundai seems to be going in a forward direction with having a split setup with their headlight housing. So, you have the headlight down there; we have the daytime running lamps on. The blacked-out housing up here, you have your traditional incandescent bulbs for your turn singles.
The headlights it’s starting to grow up growing on me, and we think they’ve done it a lot better than Jeep did with the Cherokee. A while back now, what you’ll notice with this denim trim is first of all this color fits 2020 Hyundai Venue to a tee. We love what’s going on down here. They decided to use some white accents; everybody’s using black everybody’s using gloss black.
We like this white accent material a little bit of a design to it. It’s not meant to look like a fake vent, but look, you have actual side functional air curtain. So, the air is going to travel in their flat gray across a little bit of white trim.
What’s nice is I like how they took some of the white accents just a little sprinkling of it wheel think they did it smart 17-inch wheel gunmetal gray with some a machined aluminum finish. Of course, this is front-wheel drive 205 on the with 55 series sidewall cheap tire to replace. Also, going to give you a nice comfortable ride, you see the distinct body line in the fender.
Hyundai Venue Interior
Let’s see what you get to the 2020 Hyundai Venue door panels now. We love what’s going on at the New York Auto Show we were not digging the blue, but we were digging the blue on this denim edition. The white that armrest is going to get a little dirty. But if you keep it clean, we think it’s nice to have the color break up because that’s something that Hyundai has done poorly in is just bringing a lot of color in the door panels.
It is hard plastic, but they are trying to keep the cost down now when you come to the – amazing things we love the shape of the corner AC vent. The little silver trim it is harder material, but we like this texture you have a large cubby there for you could probably put a snack in there. In their infotainment, this is how it needs to be done. They integrated that iPad style instead of it protruding more past.
It’s a more integrated look at how the silver trim blends in nicely. It is a touchscreen, and you are going to get an Apple CarPlay Android auto nice sliding feature. You got navigation. There’s no SD card, but you do have shipping with this, which is nicely done.
Then as we drop down a large cute cubby, you could probably take about 4 or 5 Twinkies that are vertical across, and now you have power supply form, so you got 12-volt USB to USB. So you get two USB and a 12 volt. You got a tasteful aluminum looking start/stop button. This is going to be controlling that CVT transmission.
On this 2020 Hyundai Venue and see what’s powering it alright, we got the hub popped it does have a prop rod, but they are trying to keep cause down. What you’re looking at is the only engine option. It’s a 1.6-liter inline-four naturally aspirated engine, so you’re looking at 121 horsepower 113 pound-feet of torque. It’s all front-wheel-drive. There will be no all-wheel-drive.
On the 2020 Hyundai Venue you do have transmission choices though believe it or not you do have the ability on the SEL to either get a manual or a CVT this one in the denim is a CVT transmission but when it comes to MPGs here’s where you’re going to be the biggest win you’re looking at 32 in the city 35 on the highway.
In denim trim, the engine the 1.6 liters we’re not talking about high horsepower engine, but it runs I very smoothly even like the electric assist on the steering they it has a high weight to it and excellent feedback in a car. That is that urban adventure that car that you’re just going to use is your daily transportation from point A to point B.
What is the expected price of 2020 Hyundai Venue?
We know you’re probably wondering how much does this 2020 Hyundai Venue cost MSRP. They start around 16,000 dollars if you could believe that this one is fully loaded, so you’re looking at $23,000 for the denim.
