What You Have to Get From 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD

It started with the exterior design because that’s really what is going just to grab a lot of attention. As soon as you see it now, this generation of the Avalon all the trim levels are pretty aggressive. The 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD  has not changed the central part of the grill; it continues to be gigantic. One of the most prominent restaurants we’ve ever seen equipped on a sedan. The entire face, but what’s different about this TRD, is that you add some more aggressive elements. Down there, all this is blacked out, and you have this lower body kit, which goes all the way around the entire vehicle.

One thing that’s important to know about this 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD is that it is based on the XSE trim level. It is going to miss a few of the niceties on that fully loaded touring trim level, including the LED headlights with the dynamic turn signal. Coming down there to your wheels, these are not what you usually get on your typical Avalon since you have the unique TRD exclusive design. A matte black finish with the red TRD branding in the middle they do have a unique material build.

They’re 18 pounds less than the 19-inch wheels on the XS II trim level. Furthermore, the brakes are also upsized on this TRD to 12.9-inch, two-piston calipers. Then coming up here to your mirrors, they are finished in the metallic black, and they have standard heating as well as blind-spot monitoring.

Going around to this Avalon TRD ‘s rear design, that’s going to be another area where these 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD sports things up. As far as the feature set itself is concerned up top, you are going to have a sizeable blacked-out spoiler up top. As with pretty much every other Toyota, it comes standard with tweed a safety cent on this Avalon TRD. It doesn’t mean you’ll have a high level of safety equipment as standard across the models as far as those safety systems that are going to be pre-collision braking, pedestrian detection, Lane Keeping Assist, auto high beam headlights, dynamic radar cruise control and in addition to the blind-spot monitoring your rear cross-traffic alert.

As you can see inside, it’s about 90% typical Avalon, but there’s a lot of special touches to kind of set this aside. As a unique product, one of those significant touches is going to be different seats. So, you can see this is a sport seat we have Alcantara inserts and red accenting and stitching as well as TRD branding and black, the only interior combination that you can get inside of the 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD  now turning over here to your door. Of course, all for your windows, our one-touch automatic.

Coming down to your seeds, these are your 10-way power adjusting seats with two-way lumbar support. We don’t know if we mentioned this is a soft text faux leather, and as we said, you have the suede inserts now; of course, even though this is the sporty Avalon, that does not mean you’re going to see a decrease in the material quality of this cabin.

Start the Avalon; you have a push-button start. When you press that button, you’ll be reminded this is not your typical Avalon. Your gauges here, this is pretty much your usual Avalon affair, mostly analog gauges. Still, you do have a 7-inch multi-function display in the middle with a ton of different types of information.

We have to say even though this is a pretty big sedan. We are very impressed by the storage. We do have excellent padding down at the bottom as well as three different USB ports then up. You have two cupholders, another large storage area with the 12-volt outlet. Furthermore, you can even slide this out of the way, and you have another hidden storage bin, and inside of that is where you’ll find your Qi wireless phone charger.

2020 Toyota Avalon TRD Specification

Right off this top, this is the same three and a half liter V6 engines. As you have in the regular Avalon, so you’re going to continue to make 301 horsepower 267 pounds of torque. Those are, of course, prime numbers, and it is a pretty powerful machine. But what makes it feel different, we guess the exhaust you know yeah really it does not seem the same at all you know actually behind the wheel there.

This car an 8-speed automatic transmission, and we are impressed by how responsive it is when you put your foot down, shifts, and you have that power immediately. There is no delay. You know it switches through gears seamlessly really smoothly, but as we said, you know you have no lag. We should mention the fuel economy figure there before we end this the TRD is going to come in at 22 City, 31 highways, 25 combined, which is the same fuel economy as the regular Avalon. This a weird car! It’s kind of funny, like somebody at Toyota was like, let’s make a sports car Avalon and is still an Avalon.
