Now, with that said, let’s, go ahead and look at kind of what this particular trim gives you, since there are like a bazillion trims of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler, we’ll focus kind of more on this trim for today. So up in the front you’re, going to notice.
You have that traditional seven slat 2021 Jeep Wrangler grille, but with the willys, you have the full fascia that’s, all blacked out that’s different from most of the other trims, which are body color. You also notice down here. We have this bumper design. This is the premium bumper design that’s shared with the higher end models like the rubicon.
Now, of course, i would be remiss if i did not mention off-road capabilities, and this willys does throw in even more capability for that still affordable price tag. So, as far as ground clearance, what you’re, looking at, is about 10 inches, give or take, and we got an approach, angle of 41.4 inches and a departure angle of 36.1 inches.
And then you can’t see it from here. But the other thing the willys throws in is rock rails along the side now coming down here to your wheels, you’ve, got the choice between 17 and 18 inch alloys, depending on the trim level. This specific model comes with 17 inch alloys with a nice gloss. Black finish you’ll, also notice, wrapped around that you have 32 inch.
Mud terrain tires, of course, very rugged tire and then back behind that we actually have heavy duty shocks specific. For this, willy’s model. As far as other things to point out, we have, of course, our big branding right here on the side, got your trail rated badge, your jeep branding down here as well, and coming up here to your mirrors.

These are going to be very simple: there’s. Actually nothing going on here. You don’t even have power adjustment, but of course you can get all the typical things if you want to upgrade to another trim that’s, not what this willys is about, though, now today i’m, going to Start out here at the side, since there is a little bit to talk about for this 2021 Jeep Wrangler now, probably the thing that you’re, most interested in a lot of wrangler owners are very interested in taking the roof off.
So there are different combinations of how this roof can be. Now the willys is going to come standard with a soft top. However, this one has the 1400 optional three-piece hard top, and there are about 10 other roof options, depending on which trim level you go for so really that’s, just going to be up to you, which is most convenient for your specific specific needs.
Now, as far as other design elements, we of course have the blacked out bumper, as well as around the wheel, arches and then, as far as just the rear design in general. This is really just that timeless 2021 Jeep Wrangler. Look that so many americans have fallen in love with. So of course, you’re, going to have this big spare tire right here and on the willy sport model.
You do have special branding on the right side as far as the tail lights. These are just going to be incandescent tail lights, however, on the higher end models you can get led and you’re not going to have any exposed exhaust outlets on this model. However, you do have a 3 500 pound tow rating.
If you go for a tow package now, this wrangler isn’t going to give you a lot of safety equipment standard. However, that’s, not really what you buy this. For that said, they do give you the option of going for an advanced safety group that will throw in forward emergency braking as well as an adaptive cruise system, but that’s It for this 2021 Jeep Wrangler, classic exterior design.
2021 Jeep Wrangler Engine
You would just use the regular key to unlock the door, but of course you can get keyless entry as well as even remote start and smart entry on your upper end treadmills and taking a peek inside of this cabin. As you can see it’s, got that really classic wrangler design, which is as cool and stylish as ever now like. I said this is a more basic model, but that doesn’t really hinder you in terms of what you get, so you’re just going to have the basic class seats that’s.
What all the 2021 Jeep Wrangler are going to come standard with, but you can get optional leather on your upper end. Trim levels, if you prefer to have that now turning over here to your door trim jeep, does keep this nice and simple since, of course, a lot of times. 2021 Jeep Wrangler generation really was a big step up over the previous generation, but in terms of materials, while everything in here is very solid, of course, they’re, going to keep things as durable as possible, because you’re talking about a vehicle That may not have doors or a roof, so we’re, going to have hard touch plastic across this part.
We have a nice silver trim that runs through the middle. You have a big handle bar for your passenger to grab against and, like i said, everything in here fits together, really well feels really solid and really durable. Now, surprisingly, even though we don’t even have keyless entry, we actually have a standard push button start across every single model. Now checking out the gauges themselves. They have a really clean and classy look to them.
You’ve got your analog gauges on both sides there with the red accents and then right there in the middle. You have about a four inch multi-function display and it does contain all the expected kinds of information. Now coming back to the steering wheel itself, uh we do have the urethane steering wheel, that’s, actually standard equipment on every single model. It is manual tilt and telescoping, but you can actually option on heating.
If you go for the sport s model or above all, right now let’s, go ahead and talk about 2021 Jeep Wrangler interior storage. I’ll, go ahead and point out that you do have a nice leather wrap center console here, which is definitely nice and comfortable to rest, your arm against, and then this does come in two tiers, so you open up the first part.
You have a nice little storage area, you have a little camo rubber mat, which i really like going into the second tier, though you’ll notice. This is actually very big. Very deep again, we have the rubber mat down there at the bottom and also a usb port. When i grab our coupons here, we can stick those in there. No problem swallows them up really easily up in front of that.

So we have got a usb type-c, a usb type-a and an aux jack up there, as well, plus a 12-volt outlet all right now checking out the shifter here. Of course, you’ll notice. There’s, lots of little 2021 Jeep Wrangler easter eggs all throughout this cabin. There’s, one of them right there on top of the shifter. This is the automatic, so you pull back for drive you can bump over here to the left. If you want to shift manually, but there are no paddle shifters and you notice, the button is also red now heading into reverse.
Of course you have a standard backup camera. I am impressed, though, that, even though this is the small display, we actually have a really clear picture, as well as active trajectory on board. These are for the ex different types of accessories that you can connect to the truck um, and then you can just press these and turn them on and off kind of like what we’ve seen in the raptor. So you can just push these things like, i said and power, your added accessories, since this is a very customizable vehicle and then up above here we have our climate controls. These, of course, are manual climate controls.
You have a standard air conditioning of course, though, on the willys s and you can get dual zone automatic climate control if you want to go for one of the higher end models, all right so now that brings us up here to our audio systems. Now, what you’ll find is a standard 8-speaker sound system on most the models.
So of course, as you can tell, this is a small display. This is a five inch display, it is standard equipment. This is actually a touch screen, though, but you do have some physical buttons along the sides to act as shortcuts. Now you can get a seven inch display as optional equipment. You can even go all the way up to the 8.4 inch uconnect system for the biggest size display on the upper end models.
Now, when you go for the seven inch display or above that’s, where you will get the android, auto and apple car play abilities now coming out up here we have a manual dimming, mirror, of course, an auto dimming. One is available and then up at the very top. Obviously you’re, not going to find a moon roof and that’s because on most of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler here you can remove the roof, and this is no exception.
2021 Jeep Wrangler Cargo Space
So why would you need a moon roof when you can just take the entire roof completely off all right, so in the wrangler’s, rear seat? I have to say this is one of the first times that i’ve, been in the wrangler. I’ve, been in a few other times, but i’m very impressed with just what this rear seat offers. Especially, you know in terms of space and comfort. So as far as your space is concerned, you’re, going to have 38 inches of rear leg.
Room 42 inches of your headroom, certainly a lot of headroom, even if you do have the roof on it is worth noting that that is going to be bigger than the upcoming bronco. So that’s, something to point out and as far as behind your sitting position, i have five inches of rear leg room.
My feet can easily slide up underneath the seat, and i do also want to mention that 2021 Jeep Wrangler rear seats are super comfortable. Um, this cloth seat is really soft and i just am very comfortable overall now. As far as the features you’re not really expecting much, and you’re not going to find a ton. However, i’m. Very pleasantly surprised that they are going to give you vents even on this more basic model and then dropping down.
Specification
So what we’ve got on board is our 3.6 liter pentastar v6 engine, which is, you know, used in a lot of different chrysler and dodge products um. With this model, we’re, making 285 horsepower 260 pound-feet of torque, which are definitely good numbers and we have the e-torque system so just like in the ram 1500 uh you’ve got the mild hybrid.
That’s, just Helping everything out, um, you know and putting less strain on the engine, allowing it to provide full power for motivation yeah, and it is worth noting that’s only going to be. If you go for the automatic transmission. Now you are going to have the standard manual and then that’s, not going to include that utorrent system right and there’s. Also some other choices too. So my jeep gives you the full powertrain setup.
2021 Jeep Wrangler Engine
With 2021 Jeep Wrangler you can get an optional. A two liter turbo four cylinder: that’s; a no cost option, you know! So if you want something with a little less power, but better fuel economy, that’s, your prerogative. That’s, a really cool option to have offered it’s kind of expensive for 4 500.. This specific example, but you know that provides just tons of torque, which of course is the most important thing when you’re off-road yeah.
Definitely i think this feels like a plenty punchy and responsive motor, but now that we’re up to speed, i do want to discuss. You know something you may be very curious about now. I do want to discuss that because most people – i i see, driving around – probably just use it on the day-to-day, and i have to say the ride quality is good.
Of course you have the off-road shocks, so it’s, going to really soak up those bumps well now, as far as the noise level isn’t, as you would expect it’s, not going to be super quiet in Here i will get a reading and before we started slowing down there, we were looking at 61 decibels going around 40 miles per hour, so definitely registering a lot higher on the sound level meter um that’s, a slower speed than we normally test That too, but, like i said you pay that price.
You know in terms of you know you when you buy 2021 Jeep Wrangler , you could just expect that now we’re at a stop here, uh, not to interrupt what we were talking about, but i want to mention the auto start: stop system uh check this Out extremely smooth, this being the e-torque that’s, one of the things that it does help is the auto start, stop and that’s.
A great auto start stop extremely smooth one of the best i’ve felt in a mainstream vehicle. I’m, really impressed by it. If you hate it, though, you can’t turn it off still, but i don’t see that anybody is going to be really annoyed by it or anything. As far as your transmission is concerned, we already you know kind of mentioned. It you got the choice between a manual and an automatic, so this does come standard with a six-speed manual transmission.
You will be sacrificing that a little bit in terms of your everyday comfort and speaking of that everyday livability uh, you have the fuel economy, which is important, of course, yeah and mason will give you some of those. So there’s, going to be too many different engines and all configurations for me to read them all off to you. But as far as this one is concerned, uh it’s, going to come in at 19 city 24. Highway 21 combined, which like to mention that’s, really not that bad fuel economy.
How much the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Price?
You have a pretty powerful v6 engine. This big box, i’m, pretty impressed by that fuel economy, figure and then finally wrapping things up as far as the 2021 Jeep Wrangler pricing is concerned, that’s, really uh, probably what you’re, really interested in, especially for this willie Sport model because this offers a lot of value um in the segment, so this one as equipped comes in ringing at $40,750 bucks.

You know everything included in here and uh. I really think that’s, a good price point, especially for you know, a 2021 Jeep Wrangler that a lot of them could be 50, some thousand dollars, and i don’t, think you’re, sacrificing a ton now granted you don’t have like all the niceties like heated seats and power windows and locks and stuff, but i really don’t think that’s.
