There is not a single body panel in common between them. So up in the front you’ll notice nothing but the latest Lincoln to sign language. Now another thing Lincoln has been killing recently are their wheel designs. Every version of the aviator has contrast alloys starting at nineteen inches on the standard 20 inches on the reserved or these fantastic-looking optional 22s the black label also comes with 22s, but of course in the signature turbine design.

As far as the mirrors They have all the goodies as standard equipment like heating power folding auto dimming on the driver side And blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and While we’re on the topic of safety. The 2020 Lincoln Aviator comes standard with quite a few advanced safety features Copilot 360 includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, Lane Keeping Assist and auto high beam headlights, and Then adding the co-pilot 360 plus package.
Will further throw in adaptive cruise control a traffic jam assist rear auto braking and evasive steering assist Finally wrapping up the outside I want to mention that the tow rating of sixty seven hundred pounds is Quite a bit better than most of the front wheel drive based rivals. So anyways guys that is it for the stylish exterior.
This is actually an electronic handle So this doesn’t pull out there’s a little lip right there if you can see it and you just squeeze that and the door will unlock All right, so checking in at the cabin of the 2020 Lincoln Aviator As you see it does have the latest Lincoln design language definitely draws a lot of influence from the flagship navigator.
Now, let’s talk about interior colors and materials So there are several different ones When you start on the base standard model that’s going to come with leatherette and your choice of ebony or sandstone colors Then when you go for the reserve, that’s what we have here.
You get premium leather And you add the additional options of ebony roast and slate gray colors Now for the Black Label, that’s obviously your top-end model. It comes standard with the best of everything the 2020 Lincoln Aviator has to offer That is going to come with something called a savanna leather.
It’s high-end leather and there’s three theme options Chalet Destination or flight now I will go ahead and mention one thing briefly and that’s that these trim pieces They do vary depending on the interior color you choose.
Obviously. We have a kind of a dark finish deployed All right now turning over here through your door trim, it is beautifully finished We do have a nice leather padded armrest here with the color contrast stitching this top part is soft touch plastic as well Coming over here we do have three person memory seating.
Definitely very soft and supple as you can see with the 30 Way Adjusting seats. They have a very unique design because each of these elements can be adjusted separately including even two different flying supports. So very very comfortable seats and they look very nice as well We don’t have it but you can get available soft closed doors as well.
Now like I already said the design of the 2020 Lincoln Aviator here does look a lot like the flagship navigator and then as far as Materials really it’s not much different from that flagship navigator. So across your upper dash here. We do have a soft touch plastic Dropping down here to the middle. You’ll notice running back behind the display We have this piece of wood trim and then through this middle area.
We have a leatherette with color contrast stitching and some piano black As we drop down you’ll see those same materials continue with your genuine wood trim You have leather that runs through here for your knee to rest against and then I’m not sure exactly what this material is. But it looks very nice kind of has them with a brushed metal finish And then as you can tell fit and finish on here is really really good no panel gaps or anything like that.
Now as far as to start the 2020 Lincoln Aviator you have the button mounted flat up here on the top Now you may have noticed the pleasant sound effects That are in this vehicle and that’s because they are new ones recorded just for the 2020 Lincoln Aviator. They were recorded from the Detroit Orchestra So it’s definitely very nice that it has both a pleasant sound and something different than other Lincoln of Ford products.

Now what we’re looking at here has going to be your standard twelve point three inch fully reconfigurable gauge cluster Now coming back here to the steering wheel a little bit I don’t wanna point out this display is controlled with this little knob there and what’s neat about this is these buttons actually adapt.
So what I’ll do is push down here for these settings as you see all the others button this other buttons Disappeared so we have just back and okay right now So I’ll go over to display setup and show you kind of just some different things you can reconfigure It’s not as reconfigurable as some rivals as far as like Audi virtual cockpit or Mercedes But you can do things turn on and off different information screens right here.
You can also add and take away the Tachometer if you don’t want that in there. So those are some of the things that you can look at right there You can also press this and you can go back to the home screen and you can see it adapts like that There would also be a head-up display available.
I Prefer that you have these two cubbies that you can slide open has a tiny storage area right there your two Illuminated cupholders and then right here you can see there’s another storage bin. It’s definitely big enough to store your phone and you have both a regular USB and a USB type-c. Now one of the other nice things though is since we have an electronic shifter on board.
However, you do get a regular one on the standard model But as you can see resolution in this is really really good one of the best I’ve seen super clear obviously those are traditional and your regular view and front and rear parking sensors and then you can also change two different views right like that and Therefore park you’ll just press the P and back behind the shifter you also have an electronic parking brake Now next to that we have the drive mode controller This model has quite a few different modes.
We also have three states see heating this is standard on all models and see ventilation is optional bonding reserve And then right above that we also have full physical controls for the audio systems. Now there are three different audio systems on this model. We have the highest possible and one since we have the reserve to package This is also shared with the black label and it is a 28 speaker revel Ultima 3d audio system So definitely a very very high-end audio system.
So let’s go ahead and take a sample of this Yeah, overall sound quality of this is Alright so now we are pretty much up here to our main display. This is 10.1 inches It is standard on all the models, of course, so we’ll go ahead and take a quick look around.
We do have a frameless auto-tuned mirror. This is standard on all models Then you have your home link universal remotes mounted right here Now one of my favorite features though is this panoramic moonroof This is optional on both the reserved and the standard model and standard on the black label When as you see it is really really large.

It goes all the way back past the second row Occupants there we can’t open up the front portion like so And it goes all the way back there So you have a ton of open air here in the front and then you also have a wind buffer. All right, that’s going to do it for all these stuff to look at up here on the front.
If that did not work. You have this backup right here you can pull this and this will let you All righty, so checking out the rear door trim of this 2020 2020 Lincoln Aviator you are gonna have an extremely nice one it is covered at leather all the way through your armrest portion with color contrast stitching and Even this upper portion is a soft touch plastic.
Now in addition to that we do also have rear window sun shades which are optional and the reserved through the luxury package and Down below that we do have some bottle storage as well as a large storage compartment right here In turning over to the seats They are that same nice design and I do want to mention that they can slide and recline as well as be captains chairs As you can see this particular model went for the bench seating.
However, they can be captains chairs if that’s what you want And of course looking at features here in this 2020 Lincoln Aviator you are going to have an extremely opulent rear seat Especially in this pretty much fully loaded model.
2020 Lincoln Aviator Cargo Capacity
So as you can see we do have a screen There’s a little bit of a glare on it, but there’s a little screen back here that controls everything for your rear seats So as you can see, there’s a seat tile and from here you can adjust several different things so I do want to mention that heated rear seats are Optional on the standard model they are also optional on the reserved.
However, it will also throw in ventilation so as you can see, we have the three-stage heating as well as three-stage ventilation and you can just toggle that on and off here and Going back to the main screen.

There’s also detach and extend Well, anyway guys that sums of all the cool luxury features that this car has in that rear areas So now let’s go ahead and take it out in the road and see how it performs there. Wow Okay there so that was our first acceleration with this 2020 Lincoln Aviator This is the standard engine option and actually gets more powerful from there if you can believe that.
But we’re not going to talk about the hybrid powertrain today This is the three liter twin-turbo v6 it already produces 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque And it definitely feels like it it does I was I was kind of caught me off a guard almost, you know, like I knew it had plenty of power but a Lot of crossovers that you review usually it’s just they all feel pretty much the same.
Yeah and which is not that powerful To me this kind of feels almost like It’s getting close to like type of vehicles and that’s definitely a compliment here because this is just the standard engine It is worth noting that if you’re going to compare this to a Cadillac xt6, that’s like ninety more horsepower than that car. And you are definitely going to feel that difference You know when you compare the two And says this shares basic roots with the Explorer, of course that does mean it’s moved on to a rear drive architecture now Definitely feels very athletic as an overall package.
This does have the air glide suspension And it has the adaptive ability where it’s reading the roads so it’s looking ahead 50 feet in front of the car and What it’s doing is just finding different types of Potholes or anything like that and making adjustments in the suspension prior to when you get there So it’s certainly a very interesting and high-tech feature.
And it all just goes into making this car ride supremely comfortably Go ahead and try out a different Drive mode here We’ll do it excite might be the most Sporty you know, they have different types of modes here, of course as you’ve seen earlier in the review You know definitely dials up the throttle response to make this thing feel even faster and it definitely feels fast.
2020 Lincoln Aviator Exterior
It’s very light Like I was talking about with the luxury theme of this car Now according to my notes There is a 10 speed automatic transmission on this and the reason I say according to my notes is that I can’t tell When this car shifts at all, it really is one of the best transmissions I know we’ve said it and past reviews this Ford and Lincoln 10 speed automatic transmission It’s really imperceptible when it shifts gears you really cannot tell at all Especially in the normal mode and it’s a very very good transmission.
How much the 2020 Lincoln Aviator Price?
so it’s definitely a different idea and you know Lincoln is one of the few brands that is pursuing that theme so if you’re interested in that then you should definitely check out the 2020 Lincoln Aviator. All righty and now let’s go ahead and discuss the pricing for this all-new aviator now the prices. I’m about to mention are for the real rear wheel drive model.
So for the standard you’re gonna start at fifty one thousand one hundred dollars and for the reserved like we have here that’s going to be fifty-six thousand one hundred ninety. Now if you want to go all the way to that top level black label model that’s going to be seventy seven thousand six hundred ninety five dollars.
